Lash Lift

A lash lift is a semi-permanent, natural treatment of your own eyelashes. Think of it like a perm that lifts those lashes so they look long, thick and luscious, and frame your eyes so they really pop! A lash lift uses a serum or treatment to condition your lashes and prepare them for their make-over. Always be sure to only go to a professional and accredited aesthetician who knows what they are doing and has your eyelash and eyecare as their top priority. At LA Eyebrows, we only work with the top aestheticians to ensure that your cosmetic treatments are of the highest quality.

• Separation Of Lashes - The aesthetician will separate your upper and lower lashes, by sticking the lower lashes down. There is absolutely no pain or discomfort involved in any part of the process. In fact, many of our customers find this to be a very relaxing process!
• Application Of Serum/Treatment - With your upper lashes ready, the aesthetician applies a serum or treatment to them, in essence, painting them upwards from root to tip onto a silicone rod. This gives them a lifted and lengthened look.
• Final Clean And Brush - At the end of the process, your lashes will get a gentle clean and brush to remove any stray bits of serum so that your luxurious lashes are perfectly ready to take on the world!

Your lash lift should last between 6 and 8 weeks. This will also depend on how fast your lashes grow, and a few lash-care things that you can do at home:

• Don’t use any cleansing products around your eye area or wear make-up for 48 hours after your lash lift.
• Once set, avoid using waterproof mascara. Also, try not to use oils and multiple skin products around your eyes and eyelashes.
• Pack away those eyelash curlers! They aren’t necessary when you’ve had your lash lift and they could undo some of the gorgeous lengthening and curling effects of your treatment.

A lash lift enhances your natural lashes by curling them, while eyelash extensions involve attaching synthetic lashes individually to each of your natural lashes to create a fuller, longer look. Lash lifts are great for those who want a more natural appearance and don't want to deal with the maintenance of eyelash extensions.

 Yes, you can still wear mascara or use an eyelash curler, if desired. However, many clients find that they don't need to use an eyelash curler as frequently or at all after having a lash lift because their lashes already maintain a natural curl. When applying mascara, opt for a water-based formula to avoid weighing down the lifted lashes.

 Yes, a lash lift can benefit individuals with short lashes, as it enhances the natural curl and adds the appearance of length. However, it's important to note that the effectiveness of the lash lift may vary depending on the length and condition of your natural lashes.
